OIG conducts CDCR employee survey relative to COVID-19
CAPT is happy to report that the Office of Inspector General, responsible for the independent oversight of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, is conducting an investigation relative to the COVID-19 outbreak inside CDCR.
Speaker Anthony Rendon from the 63rd Assembly District asked the OIG to review the conditions at our state prisons relative to COVID-19. As part of its investigation, the OIG has created a survey via Survey Monkey released at multiple institutions May 29, 2020. The survey link will be sent out to employees via email.
If you are an employee of CDCR, CAPT urges your participation in this survey. Additionally, the OIG has invited CAPT to collaborate further and to share our members’ concerns related to COVID-19 inside CDCR.
If you have any questions or have information to share, please contact your local chapter president.
