CAPT Chapter Officer Election Results

Every two years, CAPT members participate in the democratic process of electing their Chapter Officers, members who will serve as the frontline leaders and representatives for their chapters. In accordance with CAPT’s Chapter Election Procedures, elections were conducted this year in the Stockton and Community Facilities Chapters, where contested races occurred.

No elections were required in the remaining chapters because either the incumbent officers or newly declared candidates ran unopposed and were therefore deemed elected in accordance with CAPT Operating Policy.

Following the completion of the official ballot-counting process, all elected and unopposed officers formally assumed office at 5:00 p.m. on May 13, 2026, and will serve their terms through mid-May 2028.

CAPT thanks all members who participated in the election process and took the time to cast their ballots.

CAPT congratulates all newly elected officers, returning incumbents, and members who stepped forward to serve their chapters and participate in the Association’s democratic process. Strong chapter leadership remains essential to protecting the rights, wages, working conditions, and professional future of Psychiatric Technicians across California.
Should State Officer elections be required, they will be conducted during the 2026 CAPT Annual Meeting in September in accordance with the CAPT Constitution and Bylaws and Operating Policies.
