CAPT Members Invited to Apply for 2026 WAGE Scholarship

Penny C. Rasmussen Scholarship

Through the Working Assembly of Governmental Employees (WAGE), two $500 scholarships will be awarded to help support the educational goals and professional development of members of WAGE-affiliated organizations and their first-degree dependents. As a WAGE-affiliated organization, CAPT will review and select one applicant to forward to WAGE for final scholarship consideration.

Eligibility
Applicants must be:

• A CAPT member in good standing, or
• A first-degree dependent of a CAPT member in good standing

Application Process
Contact your Chapter President to verify membership eligibility and obtain a scholarship application. Completed WAGE scholarship applications must be submitted directly to your Chapter President by email, including links to the following:

• Two written references from non-family members,
• Submission of the most recent official school transcript(s),
• A compelling one-page essay explaining why this scholarship holds significance for them.

Application Deadline
4:00 PM ─ June 1, 2026

On June 1, 2026, the CAPT Scholarship Review Committee will review all applications and select one applicant to advance to WAGE for final consideration.
